Scholarship Award Tiers

Scholarships are based on household income, family size, and special circumstances. We recognize that living in high-cost areas like Tahoe and other mountain towns can make it challenging for families to afford enriching experiences. Our scholarship model reflects these realities.

Eligibility & Consideration Factors

  1. Household Income – Aligned with Federal Poverty Guidelines and adjusted to reflect the high cost of living in Tahoe and similar mountain communities.

  2. Household Size – Larger families may experience greater financial strain, so scholarship amounts are adjusted accordingly.

  3. Special Circumstances – Consideration is given to hardships like loss of a parent, medical challenges, job loss, or other financial difficulties.

  4. Commitment to Program – Demonstrated enthusiasm for camp experiences and past participation are taken into account.
